FAQ – We have anticipated below the most common questions you may want to ask before ordering. If you cannot find the info you are after below, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
How do I place an order?
Please email or phone us with your requirements. We will then discuss your options, provide you with a quote and progress your order.
Our terms of business are payment of the full amount to enable production to begin. Payment can be made by bank transfer, over the phone or by cheque. Full terms and conditions can be read here
How long will my order take?
This is entirely dependent on how busy we are when you place your order. We usually ask you when you need the order by and work towards that. If possible we can also accommodate short notice “emergency” orders!
What are your seed packet artwork requirements?
A PDF/PNG file to the exact size of the seed packet (9 x 12 cm) is required, with no trim marks, bleed etc.
Please leave a blank area of at least 3.5 cm from the top of the back of the packet to allow for the flap, which cannot be printed on. If you provide artwork with no design for the back, we will print just the front, unless you ask us to add standard sowing instructions on the back.
Please avoid big areas of colour.
Please PROOF-READ your design! We will print what you send over and cannot be held responsible for any mistakes included in your proof.
Can I choose the Seeds I would like?
Yes, you can! We carry large stocks of wildflower mixes and single species, but also seeds such as sunflower, chilli, basil, to name a few. If you require seeds we do not generally stock we can usually get in what you would need, and can advise on the suitability of the seeds for ease of planting etc. The last thing you want is to spend a fortune on seeds that involve a lot of faffing around to get them to germinate and so your recipients do not bother and the seeds spend the next few years gathering dust in the back of a drawer!
We would like to write blogs about our customers and the seed packets they have had. Once your order is complete we may contact you to see if you are happy for us to do so.
